Trident submarines are the UK’s weapons of mass destruction. They must be resisted. I fully support ACTION AWE and its campaign to take nonviolent action in order to resist the replacement of Trident submarines. It is important and urgent that all of us must do what we can to stop the dangers of nuclear conflict and the real danger of slipping into world war III. People power is the only thing which will force UK politicians in 2016 to follow their conscience, and vote against the replacement of the UK Trident submarines, so we should increase our efforts and campaigns now - well before the next UK elections around 2015. It will be the Parliament that we elect then who will vote yes or no to the replacement of these…

Press release – Open Letter To British Secretary Of State For Northern Ireland

Press Releases
Open Letter To British Secretary Of State For Northern Ireland Mr Owen Patterson Dear Mr.Paterson, I write to you regarding the continued immoral and illegal internment of Marian Price.   As you are well aware Marian has spent over fourteen months, in prison,  twelve of which were spent in forced isolation, and she is at present seriously ill and held under armed guard in an isolated hospital ward. The illegal detention of Marian Price for political offences committed nearly forty years ago, and for which she was pardoned, is a  serious…

Press Release – Justice for Assange

Press Releases
As concerned citizens of the World know, the Editor-in-Chief of WikiLeaks, Julian Assange, is currently inside the Ecuadorian Embassy, in London, having gone there to ask for Political Asylum.  I would add my voices to that of  many people of conscience, around the world, in urging President Correa to grant political asylum to Julian Assange. The British courts shamefully refused Mr. Assanges’ appeal against extradition to Sweden, where he is wanted for questioning accused of sexual molestation  (no criminal charges have been made against him). Mr. Assange has said he is willing to answer questions  relating to accusations against him, but to do so in UK.  He has good reason not to want to be extradited to Sweden, as he could find himself imprisoned in solitary confinement, and then very…
