Three Nobel Peace Prize laureates are urging Myanmar’s leader Aung San Suu Kyi, herself a Nobel laureate, to condemn the violence against Rohingya refugees or possibly face prosecution for genocide.

Nobel Women Delegation 2018. Nobel Peace laureates Tawakkol Karman, Shirin Ebadi and Mairead Maguire visited refugee camps near Cox’s Bazar yesterday. After witnessing the situation first-hand the laureates have called for Aung San Suu Kyi to either oppose and condemn the atrocities committed by the Burmese army in their campaign of ethnic cleansing against the Rohingya people, or immediately resign.
